Hi, I’m Areta. I work with adults and teens who are navigating some of life’s more difficult terrain—grief, anxiety, chronic pain, body image struggles, or simply the weight of constant stress. Whether you’re facing a major life transition or quietly burning out under the pressure of daily demands, I provide a grounded, supportive space to sort through it all.
I bring over a decade of experience to this work, drawing from my background in hospital settings, community clinics, and private practice. My clients range from those in immediate crisis to those ready to deepen their emotional insight, build resilience, and create healthier patterns. Wherever you fall on that spectrum, I’ll meet you there—with empathy, honesty, and a clear plan forward.
My approach is collaborative, holistic, and informed by evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, and REBT. Together, we’ll explore how your habits, health, relationships, and self-talk are shaping your experience—and what needs to shift. I believe therapy isn’t just about symptom relief—it’s about creating sustainable, meaningful change that reflects your values and vision for life.
I’m licensed in both Illinois and Wisconsin and offer virtual sessions for clients in either state. If you’re looking for a therapist who will honor your story while helping you make real progress, I’d love to work with you.
