Hi, I’m Matt. I work with people who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in cycles of self-criticism, or navigating the stress of life transitions. I bring warmth, curiosity, and humor into the therapy room, creating a space where you can explore what’s really going on—and what kind of change you want to make.
I’ll help you understand your patterns, make sense of your emotions, and take steps toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are. Whether we’re tackling something heavy or making room for humor and creativity, I’ll meet you where you are—with honesty, compassion, and zero pretense.
Outside of the therapy space, I split my time between the great outdoors and the great indoors. I love finding a scenic spot to set up my hammock, downhill skiing, and hiking. Inside, I’m an avid crafter, gamer, and sci-fi show binger.

Location
Matt sees clients in our office in downtown Chicago, just a short walk from both the Metra and the “El,” for in-person therapy sessions. He also works with clients throughout the state via online therapy. Many clients choose a hybrid of in-person and virtual sessions depending on their schedule and location.
Matt frequently works with clients based in Chicago and nearby neighborhoods such as River North, Gold Coast, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Lake View, Logan Square, Wicker Park, Bucktown, Ravenswood, Andersonville, South Loop, and West Loop. He also sees clients who commute from surrounding suburbs including Oak Park, Evanston, Wilmette, Glenview, Highland Park, Northbrook, Northfield, and Winnetka.
Let’s talk if you’re ready to show up more fully for your life—and want a therapist who will do the same.
