Hi, I’m Natasha (she/her)! I specialize in eating disorders/disordered eating, and couples & family therapy here at Proactive. I am so glad you’re here!
Individual Therapy
If food, exercise, and body image dominate your thoughts, you’re not alone, and you’re in the right place. Many of my clients feel stuck in cycles of guilt, restriction, bingeing, and body checking. Together, we explore not just what you’re doing, but why – because I believe every behavior has a function, even if it no longer serves the life you want now.
With experience across levels of care (outpatient, IOP, PHP) and working with clients aged 13+, I know how layered recovery can be. I’ll always be your advocate. My work is rooted in a Health at Every Size®, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming approach, and I also support clients with co-occurring concerns like anxiety, trauma, OCD, and depression.
Therapy with me is a space just for you – where you feel heard, seen, and accepted. Whether you need a validating ear or a gentle nudge, I bring authenticity, deep empathy, humor (because sometimes we need to laugh!), and curiosity to our work.
Couples & Family Therapy
Are mental health challenges straining your relationship or family life? Whether you're stuck in the same argument, navigating a major transition, or trying to support a loved one through a tough time, therapy can help.
I help couples and families recognize unhelpful patterns, rebuild trust, truly learn how to communicate, and reconnect with each other. Sometimes that means naming the invisible tension in the room; other times it’s creating space for hard conversations (and yes, sometimes even the familiar fight about who forgot to take out the trash)!
Outside the therapy room, I love yoga (teaching + practicing), exploring new coffee shops & restaurants with my partner (always open to recommendations!), creating content on intuitive eating and eating disorder recovery, hanging by the lake with friends, catching up with family on FaceTime, and endlessly scrolling animal rescue sites dreaming about my future pup!Modalities I Draw From
