Hi, I’m Sami. I work with adults who are feeling stuck—whether that’s in their thoughts, in their relationships, or in patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating big life transitions, or struggling with body image and self-worth. If you’re trying to find solid ground while managing intense emotions or self-doubt, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.

In our work together, I take a direct but compassionate approach. I’m not the kind of therapist who sits back and watches you flounder. I’ll collaborate with you to challenge unhelpful patterns, clarify what you actually want, and find practical tools to create lasting change. At the same time, I’ll hold space for everything you’re carrying—without judgment.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices like CBT and DBT, and I always adapt our work based on what’s coming up for you in the moment. Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all; it’s flexible, collaborative, and grounded in real life.

When I’m not at Proactive, I’m probably soaking up the sun, exploring new neighborhoods, or on the hunt for a great local coffee shop. I’m originally from Franklin, Tennessee, and love visiting to catch up with old friends and family.
